Chamber Orchestra Announces Season Lineup
The Eau Claire Chamber Orchestra opens its 22nd season with “A New Era,” its first-ever performance in the Pablo Center at the Confluence, 128 Graham Ave., on Saturday, Sept. 29 at 7:30 pm.
Under the direction of Music Director Frank A. Watkins, the concert will feature Beethoven’s Symphony No. 8; Serge Koussevitzsky’s Double Bass Concerto Opus 3 with James Anderson on double bass; and Chia Yu Hsu’s “Confluence Landscapes.” ECCO’s schedule for 2018-19 also includes: Baroque Treasures on Nov. 10; Symposium Concert Honoring Waldemar Ager on March 23; and American Dreams on May 4. ECCO will host its annual complimentary Family and Friends performance on Jan.y 26, featuring an instrument zoo and music that delights both children and adults.
Package tickets for all four concerts are $95. Individual tickets are $29 per performance for ages 21 and older Individuals younger than 21 are free. Tickets are available at PabloCenter.org.
