After months of planning and even a postponement, P10 Fest is finally just around the corner! This festival celebrates “all the things we love about the Chippewa Valley,” according to the event website. On June 16, enjoy events all day long at River Prairie Park. Some festivities, such as the family fishing event, begin as early as 7am, and others, such as the food trucks or the beer garden, run until 10pm. The Chippewa Valley is known for an eclectic array of activities and events, so it’s no surprise P10 Fest has a wide variety of events, too. There’s a bunch of educational events throughout the day, with topics ranging from birds to bikes to bees. Kicking off at 10am at Front Porch Plaza, there will be an artist market, a farmers market, and food trucks – so don’t worry about leaving hungry. Ready for some workouts? There will be exercise classes at Forever Gardens at 9, 10, and 11am. There are also plenty of tournaments such as kubb, badminton, and cribbage for competitive festival-goers, Additional events include a comedy show, a reading series, a photography contest, and live music from local singer-songwriter Greg Gilbertson.
