Murder and a Meal

Fun, murder, and food? Sign me up! (Especially because nobody actually gets murdered.) Deb’s Café in Chippewa Falls is hosting a 1960s-themed murder mystery dinner party on Jan. 13. This dinner mystery is light-hearted and comical. It allows you to step into a different character while trying to solve an entertaining mystery. Debbra “Deb” Judnic, who owns and operates Deb’s Café, hired Luane Baker and her company, Special Events by Design, to organize the dinner theater. “Luanne has such a bubbly personality and is very passionate about her business,” Judnic said. “We are all very excited for the dinner theatre.”

If you’re a little shy of being up in front of people, no need to fear. As a participant, you can choose to be an actor or just a spectator. For the price of their tickets, participants can play while they enjoy appetizers, salad, dinner, dessert, and beverages. Beer and wine will be available for additional purchase. This is a first for Judnic and her restaurant, but they are anticipating a good time and already have another dinner theater event scheduled for March 17. To learn more about this event and purchase a ticket, visit Deb’s Café or check out their website at www.debscafe.com.
