Sconnie artists share creativity with the community at annual Ink & Paper Print Sale

The best way to spread Christmas cheer? Filling stockings with art from Ink & Paper Print Sale this year. Volume One’s annual print exhibit is back, and this year’s sale is bound to be the best yet. Since its birth in 2013, Ink & Paper has been providing local artists with a venue to showcase and sell their art, and providing local people with the opportunity to fill their walls with genuine Midwestern creativity. This year, nearly 100 artists from across the Midwest are sharing their best work with the Eau Claire community. Their contributions represent an incredible variety of art forms: screen prints, woodcuts, mono-prints, illustrations, paintings, photographs, and digital art, just to name a few. Most of the prints ring in at $60 or less, so you can buy a print and afford to pay your heating bill. And the best part? Ink & Paper arrives just in time for the holiday season. A public reception at 7-9pm on Friday, Nov. 4, featuring contributing artists (and free food!) kicks off the seasonal sale, which runs through Jan. 7. Come to the Volume One Gallery at The Local Store, 205 N. Dewey St., to do a little Christmas shopping, and support an artist or two while you’re at it.
