You’ll no longer be able to park free during evenings and weekends in the municipal ramp across the street from Eau Claire City Hall. The City Council voted unanimously May 24 to charge 50 cents per hour at al times in the ramp, which is attached to The Lismore Hotel. Previously, parkers only had to pay between 8am and 5pm on weekdays. The council also set a maximum daily fee of $8 and boosted the flat rate for event parking from $1 to $5 per vehicle.
