The Hacker” by Melville Georgakopoulos
2o14, gouache, 8” x 11”

Melville Georgakopoulos is a self-taught artist who stays up all night petting kittens and wearing fancy shoes. He originally hails from Boston, but is trying hard to get that out of his system.

"This painting is part of a series titled A History Of Bad People. It’s a visual study of our weaknesses and our flaws. It’s a study of how we mask ourselves and hide our true identities from the world and from those closest as well. For The Hacker, I wanted to make a very pretty and disarming woman wearing the helmet of a warrior. The Hacker is a modern day siren luring you right into the jagged rocks." – The Artist
