“Star Snow” by Lara Cornell
11 inches x 14 inches

Lara Cornell is listening to the whispers, following her dreams, expressing her heart, and loving living life as an artist.

"Bold and bright colors are my preference, along with botanical elements from nature. Having been raised in a quiet wooded area of southern Minnesota, nature played a big part in my childhood, and continues to do so as I spend time near the lakes in Minneapolis. The sun, moon, fireflies, water, flowers, and plants are recurring elements in my pieces. ... What you feel and what you hear needs to be expressed, and often I have found it resonates in other souls as well." – The Artist

Volume One finds its cover art in a number of ways, from local art shows to random emails to knowing someone who knows someone who knows a great artist. The art always originates from a current or former Chippewa Valley resident. If you'd like to submit cover art, send us a letter.
