Love it or hate it, winter is a defining time for us Wisconsinites with frosted and reddened cheeks, rolling hills of white, and truly astounding light displays stretching as far as the eye can see. On Dec. 4, come down at 5:30pm to Phoenix Park for the second annual “Let it Glow!” event. Organized by Downtown Eau Claire Inc, “Let it Glow!” is back bigger and better than ever with 31,000 lights stretching across 19 trees. Downtown Eau Claire Inc is still raising money to make the event as wondrous as possible, expanding the light display to the other side of the Chippewa River with the help of the West Grand Business Improvement District. So come down and dive into free popcorn and hot cocoa. Listen to Elsa and Anna singing to just “Let it Go” along with other Frozen hits. To donate to the event go to www.downtowneauclaire.org.
