"It was Christmas Eve when this photo was born. A few friends of mine and I went driving through the woods with our cameras. We didn’t have anything in particular we wanted to photograph, we just wanted to be inspired, and that I was when I saw my friend Sami’s back against this ginormous tree. This photo reminds me of the struggles that we all face in life and reminds me not to worry because they are much less damaging than they seem." – The Artist
