Step back in time to the enticement and allure of the roaring ’20s at the 2nd Annual Gatsby’s Gala, hosted by UW-Eau Claire and Eau Claire Jazz Inc. As a celebration of the history and the culture of the Flapper Era, Gatsby’s Gala invites guests to bask in the glory of the music, dance, fashion, and food. Guests will experience the glitz and glamour of the golden ’20s first hand, by being surrounded by authentic sights and sounds of the jazz age. Catch some headlining music from UW-Eau Claire’s Jazz I and Jazz II ensembles, along with featured special guest artists throughout the night. The extravaganza will also feature an array of authentic roaring ’20s characters, choreographed to dance as if they were straight out of a real Gatsby party. Gatsby’s Gala will be held Friday, November 13 at the Davies Center, and tickets are available online now. In the famous words of F. Scott Fitzgerald: “A little party never killed nobody.”
