Music Over Menomin is back for another summer of musical nights on the shores of Lake Menomin. Menomonie Public Library’s annual musical concert series showcases one local band each week between June 18 to Aug. 6. The lineup includes concerts spanning everything from rock to blues and from grass to gypsy jazz. On June 18, the rock and roll quintent The Cutaways will be covering everything from Kenny Chesney to The Beatles. June 25 will see Transistor Radio playing popular ’70s motown and American soul hits. Singer and songwriter Ian Alexy will be playing original music on July 2 and acoustic blues duo Howard & Deb will play July 9. The jazz and big band collective The Jayson Collins Septet plays on July 16. Northwoods mountain bluegrass and swing band North of Dixie will play on July 20. The Evergreen Grass Band will play its Wisconsin indie-grass music on July 23. Chasing Mabel will cover everything from the alternative rock hits of the ’90s to the popular music today on July 30. Lastly, you can hear the the folk, gypsy jazz, and blues stylings of AcoustiHOO with Sue Orfield on Aug. 6. All concerts have free admission and are from 7 to 8:30pm at the Menominie Public Library.
