DON’T SLEEP ON ‘EM. The dudes from Sleep Signals put out a stellar album in February, and they’re now hitting the road for an extensive summer tour.

Sleep Signals, a Minneapolis via Eau Claire post-hardcore band, are set to tour the Midwest in support of their album, Open Your Eyes, which was released in February.

The album is chock full of chugging guitars, fierce drums, and a blistering hardcore vibe, but Sleep Signals finds room to be melodic and catchy, especially on tracks like “Never Walk Away,” which features a blindingly fast guitar work over a poppy chorus. Same goes for “Last Night,” a ultra-catchy song about hangover-regrets after a night of drinking: The chorus goes “Made some mistakes last night / drank too much and started a fight / Say what you mean, not what you don’t / you can’t take it back when everyone knows.”

The dudes are taking their in-your-face style all over the Midwest for The Focus On The Lines Tour in June, which will take them through South Dakota, Nebraska, Missouri, as well as through Madison and La Crosse.
