“A Day of Crow” by Noriko Slowinksi
collage, 7”x 5”, 2013

Noriko Slowinski learned how to pronounce “crow.” It’s hard.

“This work was inspired by a poem written by an area poet Linda Frank. The word ‘innocence’ came up to me after I read Linda’s poem. To show ‘innocence’ in the image, I chose to do a child-like collage instead of painting, and I kept thinking of myself as a second grader.” – The Artist
