But local author Rebekah Palmer is taking a different perspective on advice for teens: Things she learned and documented as a teenager. In her new book A Letter To My Friend, Palmer hits on a number of truths she learned growing up and relates them to her relationship with God. The book covers everything from faith to love to appearance and even features a section of Palmer’s poetry. Palmer – a creative writing student at UW-Eau Claire – pairs each section of advice with biblical text to strengthen the relationship between teenagers and God.
