2012 Year in Review: LA Street Artist Wildlife Appears

V1 Staff |

Los Angeles-based street artist Wildlife, who turned out to be a former Eau Clairian, hit the Chippewa River while home visiting family with a pair of papier-mâché cows on one of the old rail bridges. Wildlife has gained a fair amount of fame in the LA area, including a write-up in the Los Angeles Times, for his sculptures of various animals that he strategically places around the city. Though quickly removed by the authorities, the guerilla art contributed to the long list of river related art this year.
