It’s that time of year again and Banbury Place is bustling in preparation for its third Art Crawl, an event where thousands gather to join in celebration for the beloved art works of many fantastic local artists. Developed from two creative masterminds, Laurie Bieze and Adam Fuller, the once old warehouse is transformed for two days into a beautiful array of color and expression as the crowds filter the halls and studios. This year will be even bigger and better than before, as it will display the works of 40 area artists and their vast creations from various media (painting, glass, wood, pottery, sculpture, photo, jewelry, et al) all under the theme of “You Gotta Have Art.” Not only will the pieces be on display for your viewing enjoyment, but available for purchase as well. A list of resident and invited artists can be found on the Crawl’s website (banburyartcrawl.com). The event will also be offering live demonstrations of woodturning and glassblowing while your ears are filled with live music from Adrian Klenz and Matt Florence, just to name a few. Now that your eyes and ears and taken care of, its time to tickle those taste buds with food and beverage offered from A Better Life Café and a featured wine tasting from Infinity Beverages. The event is Feb. 3 (3-9pm) and 4 (9am-3pm).
