Holiday Art Fair Returns

Eau Claire Regional Arts Center selling pieces from 40+ artists

With Thanksgiving over, it’s time to start thinking about Christmas. Specifically, it is time to start thinking about Christmas shopping. The Eau Claire Regional Arts Center’s Annual Holiday Art Fair is the perfect place to begin. More than 40 local artists will be selling a variety of handmade ceramics, paintings, sculptures, jewelry, and more. Artists include Roger Adams, Steve Immerman, Cyndee Kaiser, Ruth Lundblad, Patricia Mayhew-Hamm, Beth Peck, Mel Sundby, and Bruce Warren. For 20 years, the fair has been bringing these affordable gifts to one place, making shopping easy and convenient for the public. From December 2 to 22, artists will display their pieces in the Janet Carson Art Gallery, Monday through Friday from 9am to 4:30pm. Contrary to a traditional art showing, all pieces at the Holiday Art Fair will be for sale and available to take upon purchase. If you would like to get to know the person behind your favorite artwork, the best way to do so is to come to the “Meet the Artist” event on Thursday, December 8 from 6 to 8pm, during which time many of the fair’s artists will be available to answer questions and talk to attendees. The Holiday Art Fair is a convenient place to find gifts for many people on your list as well as shop local for the holidays.
