If you’re in need of brushing up on your improv skills, you’re in luck because Eau Claire native Shane Leonard is bringing back his improvisation classes to anyone interested in the basic techniques and styles for improvisational theater. While these classes involve the dynamics of comedy, there is much more than humor in improvisation. By studying the skills and facets of improv, Leonard ensures that his students can expect to become more confident and self assured, improve at trusting others and earning that trust, practice thinking on your feet, and deepen your understanding of what makes something “funny.” Anyone above the age of 18 is welcome to attend his six-session class; regardless of previous experience.
