Music? Check. Movies? Check. Camping? Check. The Square Lake Film and Music Festival has everything the seasoned festival attendee could want. On August 13 in Stillwater, MN the 11th Annual festival will begin with an entertaining mix of live music and local films at both indoor and outdoor locations. Musical acts include Molly Dean, Night Moves, The Mighty Orange Trio, and many others. Submissions for the film showcase are still being accepted via the festival’s website. Judges will award cash prizes to their favorites. Because of limited parking, attendees are urged to carpool or bike. Bikers can register to bike with other attendees from designated locations and will receive a discount on their festival admission. If you are the outdoorsy type, free on-site camping is available on a first come, first served basis. Food, beverages, and chairs/blankets are encouraged.
