CJ Long has lived in Eau Claire for three years operating Chef 4 A Nite, his primary business stemming from in-home gourmet dinner parties. His specialty is Italian food, and he often surprises customers with his first impression. He previously worked as a tattoo artist and starting slinging kitchen knives around the late 90s. Don’t let the ink fool you; this professional has a bachelor’s degree as an executive chef and a penchant for local markets and fresh, local meats cut the same day as your private dinner. Hans Hinke of Hans Unlimited Culinary believes in his simple, comfort foods with a twist – like cajun and creole flavors. According to Hinke, “not all mashed potatoes are created equal.” He loves teaching, makes a mean jambalaya, and enjoys cooking for customers in their homes for interactive meals as well as helping parents with graduation parties. If you’d rather not stand behind the grill all day or have 20 pounds of beans leftover when your kid leaves for college, have Hans, a trained and experienced chef, run the show. He’s been in the Valley most of his life, and has proudly served up meals for thousands of Boy Scouts at Camp Phillips as food service manager and executive chef for the past four years.
