Blinded Serves Up Some Real Talk

Flying to New York to make a music video might seem like a dream to some, but for Chapin Turner (aka Blinded, or B-L-I) it has become a regular occurrence. The Eau Claire emcee just released the second of his videos shot in the Big Apple, simply titled Real Talk. “I linked up with Richard Faison, a filmmaker from Brooklyn,” Turner said. “We started building a vision and just went with it. It was really easy because of his free spirit. He had a distinct vision, creativity, and his drive to be himself as an artist really impressed me. For the shooting of the video we went down to 152nd and Broadway in Harlem and shot the footage in about two hours. Two weeks of editing and it was a wrap!” Real Talk shows Chapin rapping in between snippets of the skyline, an urban graveyard, and city lights at twilight.
