You need cash, right? You have some old crap laying around, right? Lucky for you, PBS’s Antiques Roadshow is coming to the Alliant Energy Center in Madison this July. And anyone who watches the show knows that all old crap is worth at least $800. If you would like to cash in, though, you need to apply ahead of time for tickets – visit www.pbs.org to fill out an application. Tickets will be randomly given to those who apply, and each person is welcome to bring two items and is guaranteed an appraisal (do the math – that’s an automatic $1600, at least). The Roadshow’s last trip to Madison in 2000 yielded three episodes, so watch for watch for old Wisconsin stuff on PBS next year.
