A Couple of UWEC Horn Students to Play Carnegie

Mark Koenig |

New York City’s Carnegie Hall is getting a dose of UW-Eau Claire as two music education students have been named to the National College Wind Ensemble. Megan Pattarozzi, freshman clarinetist, and Tyler Adam, a sophmore flautist, will rehearse and perform with 68 other nationally recognized college students May 20-25 and conclude the adventure with a performance at the legendary Carnegie Hall. Being named to the National College Wind Ensemble will give both students the opportunity to meet and learn from their peers and the Ensemble’s conductor H. Robert Reynolds – plus be a part of the beacon of music, Carnegie Hall. Both Adam and Pattarozzi are members of the UW-Eau Claire’s Wind Symphony and the Blugold marching band.
