On Saturday, May 1, the Bridge2Bridge 5-mile race took place at Phoenix Park in downtown Eau Claire. One of several races in the Eau Claire Marathon’s Race Series, Bridge2Bridge took place in the evening along many of the city’s favorite bridges. With many of the bridges lit by thousands of LED lights, this night run was the first of its kind in Eau Claire.  Smaller capacity races and staggered starts with a limited number of runners were also new this year because of the pandemic. The race series also included a 1-mile race on Saturday afternoon and a 10-mile race on the morning of Sunday, May 2.
