This year's U.S. National Kubb Championship took place  July 12, 13, and 14, with teams from around the country (and players from around the world) converging on the Eau Claire Soccer Park. Friday July 12 saw the Kid Kubb championship tournament; and new this year, the "1v1 World Championships" took place the same day. On Saturday, the playoffs began with 128 vying for the title – 16 of them made it to the final competitions on Sunday. The 2019 champion team was 2, 4, 6 Mafia, which has two players from Eau Claire, WI and a third from Des Moines, IA.
