Listen: Justin Vernon and James Blake Team up for New Single
You can hear a brand new track from Bon Iver and James Blake called “I Need A Forest Fire” on the critically acclaimed UK producer’s new album The Colour In Anything, which drops tonight at midnight. Blake premiered the song on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show this afternoon with a couple other new tracks from his forthcoming record. The minimalist electronic track is low key, bubbly R&B at its finest, a cleaner turn than the excellent, but more experimental Fall Creek Boys Choir project the Justin Vernon and Blake released in 2011.
So far, the only way you’ll be able to see James Blake on this continent in 2016 is when he headlines this summer’s Eaux Claires Music & Arts Festival on August 12 and 13. Tickets are on sale now at www.eauxclaires.com.
