If you care at all about Community Television, please tune in on Friday and Saturday for their annual, 100% live call-in TV auction. It’s sweet. It’s kind of like a live Christopher Guest movie where you can actually buy local goods and services while supporting one of Wisconsin’s best public access television stations – our very own CTV.

This year’s auction is particularly important as CTV is losing the majority of its funding in a few months – due to changes in public funding resulting from new laws bullied into place by AT&T. So this annual auction amounts to one of their largest sources of income. Details:

• CTV's 25th Annual Benefit Auction is a televised auction featuring products and services displayed on CTV and bids accepted by phone. It’s a mix of local celebrities and useful products and services provided by local retailers and professionals.
