On Saturday, local pop rockers Meridene celebrates the release of their second full-length album Something Like Blood to the masses. From Volume One: Meridene’s newfound ability to combine various styles of well-crafted songwriting, a central theme, and professional recording led to a truly remarkable album. “I guess the one thing I was surprised about,” says frontman Trevor Ives, “was how proud I am of the record. I really do wear it like a badge of honor.” Minneapolis indie pop trio Total Babe and local tin can punk/campfire folk rock band The Heart Pills open the show. Article.
