For anyone who has ever tried to navigate the maze of options for parking downtown, my heart goes out to you. I consider my options carefully--from the two hour on street parking that is always full to that giant ramp, and oh yeah, does anyone actually park in all those big empty lots? (Graham Riverside comes to mind). Don't get me wrong, I love downtown and all it has to offer, but sometimes I'd rather strap on my helmet and bike the 12 miles (in the rain, uphill...) This seems easier than trying to negotiate the how's and where's of parking my nice comfortable ride I call a car. Is this the best we can do Eau Claire?! Isn't there a better way to make parking a little less daunting and more inviting to those of us who choose/need to drive downtown?
