So Chalkfest is a pretty big event for us. Well over 5,000 people meander through Wilson Park in downtown Eau Claire to watch more than 50 amazing artists create huge sidewalk murals of awesomeness. Just check out the photos from the first year. That said, it takes a TON of work to pull off. This year, the main event is on Saturday, August 8 and lasts all day and into the night. We need volunteers for various shifts to do anything and everything from set up and tear down, to manning supply tents or selling t-shirts during the day. You can work with the artists, work with the public, work with kids – whatever strikes your fancy.
