Local man touts parallel parking skills

Damn, son. Nice parking.
Damn, son. Nice parking.

As many of us know quite well, parking near UW-Eau Claire is limited, causing drivers to park on curbs, up snow banks, or to aimlessly drive around crowded lots for hours upon hours.

Chris Schasse refuses to do that.

According to his entertaining* blog, Schasse is the kind of guy who sees opportunity in the face of adversity, and has used the parking challenge as an excuse to hone his insane parallel parking skills. Unless the photos he's been posting were created via some kind of advanced digital image manipulation (or, you know, he just had his friends park really close to him) this guy's got game. According to his website:

"I'm not very good at many things, so when I get a chance to brag about something, I do. Right now, I'm really only good at two things: Parallel parking, and balancing multiple discs on my head. And to be honest, I'm really not all that good at balancing discs on my head."

– Chris Schasse

Schasse is also trying to sell his ’92 Dodge Spirit for $2,000. As car ads go, this blog is a good one. To see just where Chris has successfully parked, or if you’re interested in his Dodge, go here.

*If you're into that kind of thing.
