It’s been a while since we’ve heard much new news about the Confluence Project, but developers haven't been sitting idly by. And on Wednesday, Downtown Eau Claire, Inc. will be hosting an Idea Lounge discussion about the project, originally presented back in May. Community members will have the opportunity to discuss the project and ask any questions they might have.

In particular, this is a great chance to weigh in on the fate of the buildings on Barstow Street (extending from 2 S. Barstow to Eau Claire Street) – what could be the most contentious issue of the entire project.

Stuart Schaefer of Commonweal Development Corporation, Vicki Hoehn of Clear Vision Eau Claire, Ben Richgruber of ECRAC and Mike Rindo of UWEC will be the featured panelists at the discussion.
