After an incredibly positive response to its inaugural event last spring, Eau Claire Fashion Night (ECFN) is slated to return on Saturday, April 13, platforming local designers and stylists. Last year, the fashion show was held at Forage (403 S Barstow St., Eau Claire), and this year will take place in a larger gallery space located at 328 Water Street.

Originally ideated by Lizzy Averbeck of LA Styles and Alexia Kane, co-founder of Eau Claire Makers Market, this year’s ECFN is being brought to life by Menomonie-based BarbaLynn’s Vintage and Ursa Major Workwear.

"It is important that creatives in this area have a platform to draw inspiration from as well as work collectively on events like this."

“We decided to come back and do Eau Claire Fashion Night for a second go-around because we had so much fun connecting with other creatives and designers in the area,” Maysa Maraia, owner of BarbaLynn’s Vintage, said. “We thought it was important to continue this and give other people the opportunity to be a part of this community.”

The event will showcase collections created by seven designers and stylists, the locals wearing the collections to be coached by Sidney McConkey of Silhouette Model Training. Similar to last year, an exclusive clothing pop-up from the featured designers and stylists will be open to ECFN attendees as well.

Designers and stylists showcasing their work at ECFN include Maysa Maraia of BarbaLynn’s Vintage, Noah Savas of Ursamajor Workwear, Sofia Morin, Sofia Swan and Henry Williamson of Wilderness Wear, Annamarie Charloff of Dawn of Time, Milo Fleming of Olim Clothing, and Tierra of Teaairaadesigns.

Held from 7-10pm, doors will open promptly at 7pm with the fashion show beginning at 7:30pm, expected to run for roughly an hour. Following the show, live music from local DJ Gabriel Fischer will continue, photo-ops and drinks will be up for grabs, and collection shopping will be offered until 10pm.

"It is important that creatives in this area have a platform to draw inspiration from as well as work collectively on events like this," Maraia said of the event in an Instagram post. "After five months in the making, we are excited to bring Eau Claire Fashion Night to you all."

Tickets are $15 and available on Eventbrite, this year’s show accommodates more people than last year thanks to the location move.
