If Ruthless is the lovechild of five years’ worth of perseverance and purpose, it is only fitting to see its dreamy yet powerful soundscape flood the CBS Studio during an upcoming airing of “Saturday Sessions” on CBS Saturday Morning.

Less than one month since kicking off the Ruthless tour at the Stones Throw in downtown Eau Claire, Eau Claire’s own Waldemar will be performing on an upcoming edition of CBS Saturday Morning, which airs between 6 and 8am on Saturdays (naturally).

Unless something changes, the session will air Saturday, June 10, singer-guitarist Gabe Larson said via email from New York.

Converge Radio broke the news by sharing a couple of in-studio pics of Gabe Larson and company at the CBS Studio on Times Square.

We’ll share more details as they come. In the meantime, check out Nickolas Butler’s article about Waldemar from our May 5 issue.

You can tune in to CBS Saturday Morning on Channel 8 (WKBT) out of La Crosse if you’ve got a digital tuner, find it on your cable lineup, or catch it later on the CBS website.
