Honk honk! If you know a kid who loves trucks, construction, and large vehicles of all kinds, then the L.E. Phillips Memorial Library has the event of the year: Touch a Truck, on Saturday, July 9, will provide youngsters with the opportunity to – yes – touch all sorts of trucks.

Featuring an assortment of construction vehicles, this event is the stuff of your little builder’s dreams. Playing with Tonka trucks in the living room is exhilarating, and getting to see the huge, real-life versions has got to be just the best thing since the wheel.

What sort of truck interaction will there be? Visitors can see, touch, and safely explore the various equipment present – but that’s not all. The very best kind of trucks will also make an appearance: food trucks! There’s gonna be snacks aplenty for the whole family during the three-hour event.

Touch a Truck will take place on July 9, from 10-1pm in the library parking lot (2725 Mall Drive).
