Menomonie's Town

Thom Fountain |

The Menomonie Theater Guild will be bringing the famous pantomimed performance of Our Town to the Mabel Tainter Center for the Arts on two upcoming weekends. The play by Thornton Wilder is known for breaking the third wall and using minimal to zero props or set, which makes the performances unique to each individual show and troupe that puts it on. It follows the lives of citizens in a small town from 1901-1913 and digs deep into the relationships of the characters. The Menomonie Theater Guild’s performance will run Apr. 26-27 and May 3-5. Tickets are $14 ($12 for students and seniors). You can find show times and more information about the Menomonie Theater Guild at Menomonie TheaterGuild.com.
