New Restaurant Aims to Recreate 1950s Supper Club Vibe

Tuesday Wustrack |

Hungry for Italian food? Opening in the summer of 2013, Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse will spice up typical Italian food and atmosphere. Larson Companies, the owner of Johnny’s, plans to recreate the 1950s supper club but with a classy twist. Customers will feel fancy yet comfortable as they dine on juicy steaks and listen to the smooth jazz music of Frank Sinatra and Harry Connick Jr. The menu includes steaks, sandwiches, pastas, seafood, and desserts. One of the restaurant’s specialty dishes is Johnny’s Chanel No. 5, a pasta dish with cheese ravioli, seafood, and artichokes in a garlic cream sauce. For drinks, customers will head over to the neon blue bar, where the bartenders will pour them unique martinis, including The French Stowaway or Southern Suede, among other wines and spirits. Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse will be located on Owen Ayres Court in Eau Claire, attached to the Holiday Inn Hotel off of Interstate 94.
