If you’ve always wanted the chance to hold a newborn lamb or piglet, here it is! Get ready to say “aww” as they say “oink” and “baa.”

Govin’s Farm in Menomonie, run by John and Julie Govin, is currently running its Lambing Barn and Farm Babies attraction. There are only two weekends left, so hurry if you want to snuggle a sheep! The remaining dates are April 2-3, April 9-10, and April 15-16, from 9 am-4 pm each day.

Customers both young and old will be able to hold and feed baby animals and enjoy watching them frolic. Is there anything purer? They have it all – sheep with their lambs, pigs with their piglets, goats with their kids, baby chicks, and even alpacas! And don’t worry, there are plenty to go around. More than 300 babies have been born this spring and more are being born every day. There will also be a concession stand with delicious snacks, such as apple cider donuts, warm pretzels, brats, and more. If the weather is favorable, they will have pony rides and a giant slide.

Lambing Barn admission starts at $12, with children under age 2 admitted free. Tickets can be purchased at Govin’s Farm or online at govinsfarm.com.
