Since last spring’s “Best Of Chippewa Falls” guide, dozens and dozens of events have filled the multi-floor community hub of Market On River (128 W. River St., Chippewa Falls).
From the regularly-occurring weekend vendor markets to pop-up events, food-focused conversations at the second-floor kitchen space, private celebrations of weddings, baby showers, business events and more, there is quite literally “MOR” to do than ever at the Wisconsin Farmers Union headquarters.
In-house businesses, too, have experienced some transitions since last year's guide. Staples like Asian cuisine purveyor TemptAsians, local roaster Hiker Coffee and hometown pizzeria Jim Bob’s Pizza continue to sling their locally-made sips and eats, while new first- and second-floor businesses have since joined the fray.
If you haven’t swung by MOR in awhile (or ever; how’s that possible?!), consider this your sign to do so. Here’s an in-a-nutshell on the local businesses that call MOR home.
Hiker Coffee

After getting its start a decade ago, Hiker Coffee has evolved and grown into nationally-available coffee roaster, with its only coffee shop location found within MOR. Owned and operated by locals Zach Pecha and Addy Serum, Hiker Coffee boasts toxin-free coffee and gluten-free, flavorful food at its retail location.

COMING SOON
You never know what the WFU and MOR team has up their sleeve – until they make an announcement, that is. In April, MOR shared a brand-new business would be opening a location within the historic building: Wholistic Nutrition.
Owned by local husband-wife duo Jeff and Becky Witt, Wholistic Nutrition has already served the Chippewa Valley for years at its original location in Altoona. As of this May, Wholistic Nutrition will open its second location, at MOR, bringing non-toxic nutritional care options to Chippewa Falls.
Keep up with Market On River (128 W. River St., Chippewa Falls) and its community of local vendors and businesses on social media and online at www.marketonriver.com.
