Dust Off Your Black Tie: Heyde Fundraising Dinner is Back
Chippewa Valley Cultural Association aims for a night of glitz and glamor
If you are looking for a reason to get all dressed up in the glitz and glamor style of an awards show, look no further: The Chippewa Valley Cultural Awards Gala Fundraising Dinner, hosted at the Heyde Center for the Arts in Chippewa Falls, is the perfect opportunity to go out and indulge in the luxury that is art and community.
The Heyde Center aims to make a big impact with this 18th annual event, slated for Saturday, Oct. 12. Debra Johnson, the executive director of the arts center, says that the main goal of the dinner each year “is to foster community spirit and celebrate the arts in Chippewa Falls.”
Come ready to share great conversation and live entertainment from a multitude of different acts excited to share their talent: a musician, a singer, two dancers, a magician/comedian, and two actresses.
“Attendees are encouraged to immerse themselves in the performances, enjoy the unique ambiance, and connect with the passionate individuals who contribute to the Heyde Center’s thriving arts scene,”’ Johnson said, adding, “This event is designed not only as a fundraiser but also as a friend-raiser.”
The night is to be hosted and emceed by FM98.1’s Luc Anthony, who will also help to auction off three unique live experiences that can’t be found anywhere else: Dinner on the Roof of Heyde Center, a Gourmet Dinner by Nathan Berg, and a Key West Vacation Home Stay.
The Chippewa Valley Cultural Awards Gala Fundraising Dinner will take place on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 5:30 to 9 pm at the Heyde Center for the Arts in Chippewa Falls. Everybody is invited, and tickets can be purchased on their website.
