Looking for family fun this summer? The Chippewa Falls YMCA’s new Outdoor Preschool is the place for quality time and socialization among families.

Classes offering summer fun and flexible times with reasonable prices will be available at the YMCA in Chippewa Falls, Monday-Friday from June 13 to Aug. 28. Activities such as nature walks, educational learning with STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, English, Arts, and Math), cooking classes, and a dancing, Zumba, and movement program will run on a weekly basis.

The projects are designed for kids ages 1 to 5, but all ages are welcome to attend.

“We saw a need in the Chippewa Valley for families to be able to connect and develop relationships with one another,” Harrison Anderson, YMCA Early Learning Community Child Care Director, stated in a media release. “This program encompasses what the YMCA is about. It is our social responsibility to help connect the community and provide families with resources.”

Registration is available online, but walk-ins for a class are possible. However, if the class is full, then walk-ins will be turned away for that day, so registration is highly recommended. The programs are open to YMCA members and non-members alike. Kids must be accompanied by a parent. Enjoy a morning or an afternoon this summer with family and fun.
