From concept to creation and enhancement of neighborhoods in the Chippewa Valley, CDPG Developers — a group of local business owners, including C&E Wurzer Builders, Holzinger Homes and preferred vendor partners Trendstone Surfaces and Chippewa Valley Excavating — has its eyes set on more than just forever homes for locals. Its latest development, Creekside Landing, achieves this and more; it solidifies the developers reputation for thoughtful, sustainable community building.

Creekside Landing will become a scenic neighborhood with spotlights on customized lots for new residents and families. It is conveniently located near Orchard Hills, another development from the CDPG Developers family of properties.

In tandem with the development of Orchard Hills, this new subdivision will allow for a greater variety of lot types: more single-family residencies and a diverse experience for prospective homeowners.

Located on the south side of Eau Claire, Creekside Landing provides accessible entry points to outdoor recreation and bike path connectivity to the remainder of the Chippewa Valley’s trails.

This, coupled with CDPG Developers’ attention to detail with each new carefully crafted lot, ensures the natural wooded characteristics and landscapes along the creek are preserved.

“(By) offering private back yards along with having neighborhood park space with playspace, green space and pavilion and sports like basketball and/or pickleball — this will be a family friendly area,” Craig Wurzer, owner of C&E Wurzer Builders, said.

While the current development of Creekside Landing remains in progress, Wurzer predicts the total neighborhood will encompass 175 lots and will be completed in multiple phases, Wurzer added.

Phases one and two will both feature a mixture of twin homes and single-family residences. Additional phases will focus exclusively on single-family homes and offer a selection of lots with open access on the property — as well as private, wooded lots along the creekside.

Chippewa Vallians have already expressed interest in the properties of phase one, Wurzer noting “out of the four twin home lots in phase one, three of them are spoken for as of now. There are a couple quick moves in units available.

“Like Orchard Hills, these (properties) are typical city lot sizes, ranging from an eighth to a third acre lots,” he continued.

Creekside Landing — situated near Mischler Road, Evergreen Terrace and South Lowes Creek Road — offers future residents convenient access to desirable southside amenities, in addition to the connections within the Eau Claire Area School District (ECASD).

“With the creek running through the property — and being adjacent to Lowes Creek road and the proximity to Lowes Creek County Park — we found it appropriate to link (these locations) to the neighborhood characteristics,” Wurzer said.

This project is designed not merely to build forever homes, but to cultivate a vibrant, connected neighborhood where residents can thrive and access the amenities which matter most to them.
