Gather ’Round! Mabel Tainter Center Announces 2021-22 Season
from musical performances by renowned artists to artisan markets to disco nights in the historic Mabel Tainter Theater, Menomonie is slated to be the place to be this season

The renowned Mabel Tainter Center for the Arts once again opens its historic doors to show the Menomonie area the countless ways art can be shared, as it recently announced an exciting lineup of events for its 2021-2022 performance season.
This September, check out performances by pianist Ethan Iverson, Hyprov (hypnosis improv) by Colin Mocheries, country singer Colleen Raye, and a Sam Cooke experience brought to you by his daughter, Carla Cooke.
Blues, folk, and country music fills October’s calendar, with appearances by Patchouli, Shaun Johnson, Carlene Carter, Lee Roy Parnell and Barbaro.
Get spooked with a Charlie Berens comedy show on Oct. 29, and a ghost-sighting show by The Amazing Kreskin on Oct. 30 – just in time for Halloween.
Music legends – such as Rodney Crowell and Judy Collins – will perform Nov. 6 and Nov. 10, followed by Mabel’s Holiday Artisan Market on Nov 19-20. To wrap up the holiday season, Em Menz & Sue Orfield will have their jazzy holiday show on Dec 17-18.
Bring in the New Year with a tribute to John Denver on Jan. 29 by Layne Yost. And – if you’re looking for a good way to laugh off the past year and a half, get a kick out of comedy shows performed by comics Tim Harmston and Mary Mack, Paula Poundstone, and Louie Anderson.
If you’re looking to get back into the live music scene, check out soul and rock performances by The Drifters and the Red Hot Chili Pipers (the world’s most famous bagpipe band, not to be confused with a certain group of California rockers) , as well as a dazzling Mabel Tainter Disco Night.
