The Chippewa Valley is abuzz about The Hive – a new, unique, small-batch women’s boutique that pivoted from being a restaurant in Lake Hallie.

“This milestone is a major move for The Hive on its mission to weather the storm of COVID-19,” said owner Alyssa Tollefson. “We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to remain in business, albeit a much different business.”

The Hive, off U.S. Highway 53 just a few minutes from downtown Eau Claire, opened in February 2020 offering wraps, rice bowls, and pup-friendly coffee. This year, becoming a sweet-as-honey boutique means The Hive will present shoppers with “items that many of the same customers from the restaurant will love, and we are so happy to be able to welcome them back,” Tollefson said. Items – such as clothing, accessories, and home décor – will be available in-store and online. “We are constantly adding new products to our inventory so that you have something fresh to shop,” she added.

”I’m thankful this pivot allowed The Hive to remain a business and me a business owner in the Chippewa Valley,” said Tollefson, an Eau Claire native. “We appreciate the Chippewa Valley’s support, and we look forward to continuing to serve the community with this new endeavor.”

The Hive is at located just off U.S. Highway 53 in Lake Hallie. (The address is 1120 122nd St., Suite 4, Chippewa Falls.) To find out more, visit thehivecv.com, call (715) 456-6603, or find The Hive on Facebook
