Brewing up a Good Time With the Midwest’s Best
The fourth annual Midwest Craft Brewers Conference, hosted by UW-Stout, will be held April 12-13 at Wilson Park in Menomonie – but this year, there’s a twist. For the first time since the original conference in 2015, a festival will be held the following day. From 1-5pm on Saturday, April 14, UW-Stout welcomes craft beer enthusiasts from all over to sample beers from 25 different breweries.
In addition to sampling beer, attendees can try snacks from local vendors. Davey J and Friends will provide folk-rock performances. The conference itself includes information about quality control and brewing safety, and networking and social events for brewers. Prior to the festival, brewers are welcome to a Bloody Mary brunch at Silver Dollar Saloon on April 14.
The festival is open to the public to guests 21 years and older. Tickets are $30 before April 14 on UW-Stout’s website and $40 the day of the event. Learn more at uwstout.edu/profed/mcbc.
