Maker Workshops at The Local Store

Join us in the Volume One Gallery for a 60 minute workshop with one of the local Chippewa Valley makers that make goods for The Local Store. Learn about the origin of Volume One & The Local Store in the community and how it works with local makers to offer unique, handmade goods.

Then, learn from the makers' process and guidance to create something truly unique to take home as a reminder of Eau Claire. Choose from a variety of experiences from hand painted signs to felting to bath salt making and more.

All workshop participation requirements, designs used, timing details, etc. are all extremely flexible and open to interpretation on a situational basis. We want to work with you to create a unique experience specific to your group's needs! Reach out to us with specifics to tell us how we can work together to craft an experience that works for you.

How it Works

Organizations and/or groups can reach out in advance to schedule a workshop at the discretion of availability of the Volume One Gallery and availability of the maker they wish to work with. There are up to 25 spots available for the workshops depending on the materials/space the maker needs with a minimum of ten participants.

Workshops cost $25-$29 per person (depending on length of time, materials needed, etc.) and will cover all materials needed to make a one of a kind item to take home. Reach out to Lindsey at localstore@volumeone.org(localstore (at) volumeone [d0t] org) or call 715-552-0457 for more information or to book an experience.
