It's back! Who's ready this year's totally free, totally local yuletide concert series? Everyone? Good. Because every Friday and Saturday this Holiday season (November 29 – December 21 at 7pm sharp) we'll host some fine local bands for your listening pleasure – right in The Volume One Gallery (205 N. Dewey Street). We’ve got a little something booked for everyone, from AcoustiHOO to Hannah Connolly to The Rattlenecks to Billy Krause and more. We've even got Sean Carey lined up for Dec. 14. Once again, Volume One is proud to host Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, Eau Claire! – an exclusive collection of holiday favorites produced by a group of Xmas-lovin' local musicians. These yuletide-riffic tunes – unavailable anywhere else – are sure to melt the icy hearts of even to the Scroogiest Chippewa Vallian. The tunes where hand-selected by Andy Plank, who's been asking locals to create holly jolly cover tunes since 2009-ish.
