Tom Giffey, managing editor of Volume One, has been an award-winning media professional in the Chippewa Valley for more than 20 years. He joined Volume One in 2012 after a 13-year career at the Leader-Telegram, the region’s daily newspaper, where (among other things) he covered politics and business and edited the Opinions page. Giffey has covered everything from presidential visits to county fairs, but his favorite articles are those in which he gets to tell the stories of people trying to improve the communities they live in. He lives in Eau Claire with his wife, Tiffany, and their two children.
