CVTG presents this play based on the children’s book of the same name. A grandmother, delicious latkes, and a bear with poor eyesight make for confusion, chaos, and holiday joy.


Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley

Menomonie Theater Guild • Dec. 2-4, 9-11 • The Mabel Tainter, Menomonie

 A sequel to Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice and is set two years after that novel’s ending and continues the story. When the family gathers for Christmas at Pemberley, an unexpected guest sparks Mary’s hopes for independence, an intellectual match, and possibly even love.


The Best Christmas Pageant Ever

Two local productions: Dec. 9-11 • Heyde Center, Chippewa Falls

Dec. 2-4 & 9-10, Eau Claire Children’s Theatre

Two troupes will be performing this tale in the Chippewa Valley this season: one in Chippewa Falls, and one in Eau Claire. The Herdmans are the worst kids in the history of the world. A classic, delightful Christmas tale about a couple struggling to put on a church pageant. Full of mayhem, comedy, and holiday joy. Come see the chaos they cause in the annual pageant.
