An upcoming episode of the travel TV series Discover Wisconsin will feature Chippewa Falls in a starring role. The episode, titled “Chippewa Falls – Pure Fun For Everyone,” will premiere on the weekend of June 3-4. The show will showcase a variety of Chippewa Falls attractions, businesses, and landmarks, including Leinenkugel’s, parks and bike trails, River Bend Winery, Loopy’s, tubing, the Heyde Center for the Arts, Olson’s Ice Cream, Sokup’s Market, and the city’s historic downtown, says Jackie Boos, tourism director for the Chippewa Falls Area Chamber of Commerce. Discover Wisconsin, which bill itself as the “nation’s longest-running tourism show,” is broadcast statewide as well as on select stations in Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, and Michigan.
